Mayday Group oversees the corporate governance of Mayday Assistance, Mayday Claims and Mayday Medical. Our complaints, compliance, finance and information technology services are provided centrally to all subsidiary companies. Our complaint and compliance team ensure that the services we provide are consistent with the principals of treating customers fairly and conform to all regulatory requirements. Our finance team ensures payments are expedited to medical facilities and suppliers through our established worldwide international network ensuring cost containment, in line with anti-money laundering and financial sanctions procedures, whilst offering a bespoke reporting process for Underwriters including claims float management. Our in-house information technology team guarantee a continuous support service for business continuity.

Mayday Assistance

We provide a continuous and uninterrupted, around the clock emergency service, dedicated to providing guidance and assistance for travellers in need of medical attention, with access to our in-house medical team.

Our highly trained, multi-lingual team operate in rotational shifts, 24 hours a day, 365 days of the year to provide reassurance and assistance whenever and wherever it is needed.

At Mayday Assistance we deal with all cases in line with the principles of Treating Customers Fairly (TCF) and will always be guided by industry best practice in every situation. We are always looking for ways to innovate and our new mobile phone app for both Android and iPhone is already proving its worth in helping customers with a smoother and more efficient tool to access our services.

Mayday Claims

Our claims department offers a dynamic and innovative claims handling solution with access to our in-house medical team and linguists. We adjudicate all types of claims, including travel, missed events, personal liability, and personal accident, promptly and fairly offering first class customer service. We assist claimants throughout the claims process, from the outset to the resolution.

The main benefit of our claims team working so intimately with our assistance team is that they have access to the same pool of information making claims much easier to assess, and speeding up the process as duplicate information isn't required.

Mayday Medical

The Mayday Group is supported by our highly skilled team of specialised Paramedics and ITU Nurses who are all active within an acute/intensive care NHS environment. They are led by our Medical Director, Dr. Peter Sagar (MBBS, DRCOG, DCH, MRCGP).

These allow us much more flexibility with airlines that do not offer oxygen on board.

• Portable 12-Lead Cardiac Monitor with Defibrillator
Capable of live reporting, via Bluetooth and Wi-Fi, blood pressure, body temperature, respiration, and oxygen saturation levels.

• Well-stocked medication bags
Individually tailored for each repatriation with medication prescribed by our Pharmacist and Medical Director.
